"I used Badge Magic to attach my patch to an inflatable life vest. Sewing would have punctured the air bladder."

FAQ
Instant Name Labels
Q: How do I use the labels on fabric?        Next
A: If the garment you are labeling is new, wash it before putting on the Instant name label. (This takes the sizing out of the garment and will allow the label to stick better.) Place the garment on a flat, hard surface. Make the area where you will put the label as flat as possible. While the label is still on the sheet, write your information on the label. Then remove the label from the sheet and lightly press the label onto the garment. (By not pressing too hard, you will still be able to move the label if you need to.) When the label is in the desired spot, press VERY firmly on the label, especially around the edges. Then press VERY firmly on the fabric on the backside of the label using something hard like a wooden spoon or scissor handle, especially around the edge of the label. The label should now be like part of the garment and will not come off unless you want it too!
